This Privacy Policy explains how Marvel (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the Marvel mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) and profile photo (optional).
- Delivery information: the addresses you save and, with your permission, your device location, used to set delivery addresses and calculate delivery fees.
- Order information: products you order, order history, favourites, reviews, and messages exchanged about your orders.
- Payment and wallet information: payment status, amounts, wallet transactions, points and promo codes used. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider; we do not store your card number or CVV.
- Support information: complaints, suggestions and any messages you send to us.
- Device information: device type, operating system and a push-notification token used to send you order updates.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your phone number by SMS code.
- To process, prepare and deliver your orders and to keep you updated on their status.
- To process payments, refunds, wallet balance and loyalty points.
- To respond to your inquiries and complaints and provide customer support.
- To send you notifications about orders and, where permitted, offers that may interest you. You can turn off notifications from your device settings at any time.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, secure the App, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve our products, services and user experience.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service:
- Stores and delivery drivers: your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can prepare and deliver your order.
- Payment provider (Fawaterak): to process online payments securely.
- Service providers: Google Firebase (push notifications), Google Maps (addresses and distance calculation), SMS providers (verification codes), and our hosting provider. They may use your data only to provide their services to us.
- Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and our business.
4. App permissions
- Location: to pick your delivery address and calculate delivery fees. Used only while you use the App.
- Camera / Photos: only if you choose to upload a profile photo.
- Notifications: to send you order updates.
You can allow or deny any permission from your device settings. Some features may not work without it.
5. Tracking and advertising
The App does not use your data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not share it with data brokers.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep to comply with tax, accounting or other legal obligations.
8. Your rights

9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and notify you in the App for significant changes.
